New Delhi: Prasar Bharati has issued notification inviting applications from satellite TV channels to fill up vacant MPEG-2 slots of DD Free Dish DTH Platform for the period from 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2021.
The slots will be allotted as per procedure explained in Clause (r) of Annexure-2 of the policy guidelines for allotment of DD Free Dish slots, notified on 15th January 2019 and as amended vide amendment notified on 01st November 2019
Categorization of TV channels in different buckets in accordance with genres/language of the channel and their starting reserve price will be as below:
The applicants will be required to furnish Demand Drafts for a Non-refundable processing fee of Rs 25,000/- and participation fee of Rs 1.5 Cr which is refundable for unsuccessful bidders.

The Last Date for submission of applications is 30.03.2020 latest by 3.00 P.M.
Channels licensed by the Ministry of I&B and International Public Broadcasters licensed/registered by the Ministry would be allowed to participate in the allocation/eAuction process
