The results of the recently held elections at Press Club of India were declared on 22nd May. The panel led by journalist Umakant Lakhera has won all 21 seats including the executive committee members. Lakhera has once again been elected as President of ‘Press Club of India’.
The panel comprised of Manoranjan Bharti for Vice President, Vinay Kumar for Secretary General, Swati Mathur for Joint Secretary and Chander Shekhar Luthra for Treasurer’s post.
In 2021, the Lakhera-led panel won with a huge margin. Umakant Lakhera was elected as President, Shahid Abbas was elected Vice President. Vinay Kumar won the post of General Secretary, and Chander Shekhar Luthra held the post of Joint Secretary. Last year Sudhi Ranjan Sen won the post of Treasurer.
