Mumbai: Gurugram-based digital marketing agency PROHED has secured the SEO mandate for Behno, a New York-designed luxury handbag brand focused on ethical craftsmanship and conscious luxury.
Founded in 2015 by Shivam Punjya, Behno designs minimalist handcrafted leather handbags in New York and produces them through artisan workshops in India. The brand follows its proprietary “Behno Standard,” a six-pillar framework centred around health, worker mobility, family planning, women’s rights, worker satisfaction, and eco-consciousness.
Under the partnership, PROHED will work towards strengthening Behno’s organic search visibility across India and global markets, targeting consumers seeking ethical fashion and sustainable luxury products. The collaboration comes at a time when online discovery for conscious fashion brands is increasingly being driven through search platforms.
As part of the mandate, PROHED will implement a comprehensive SEO strategy focused on improving Behno’s search visibility, driving high-intent organic traffic, and expanding its digital footprint across key markets.
The scope of work includes technical SEO, on-page optimisation, content strategy, and link-building initiatives. The agency will also focus on ranking Behno across high-intent keywords within the conscious luxury and ethical fashion segments while ensuring the brand’s e-commerce platform remains optimised for search engines.
