Mumbai: PulseAI Research, an AI-powered consumer intelligence and market research platform, has announced its strategic expansion into the United Arab Emirates, marking the next phase of the company’s international growth as it strengthens its AI-led consumer intelligence capabilities across the Middle East.
As part of its regional expansion strategy, the company has appointed Chirag Desai as strategic advisor for its Dubai office. Based in Dubai, Desai will support PulseAI Research in driving strategic partnerships, enterprise growth initiatives and expansion across the UAE and the wider GCC region.
Desai brings decades of experience across consumer goods, retail and business transformation in India and the Middle East. A former leader at Unilever, he has led market expansion, business growth and go-to-market strategies across emerging markets. He is recognised for his expertise in consumer behaviour, commercial strategy and brand growth across the GCC region.
The expansion comes at a time when the UAE is accelerating its focus on artificial intelligence and digital transformation. The country has increasingly positioned itself as a global hub for innovation, enterprise transformation and AI-led governance initiatives.
Founded by Swagata Sarangi and Siddhartha Nangia, PulseAI Research focuses on real-time consumer intelligence powered by behavioural analytics, AI-driven insights and live commerce signals sourced from more than 30 million high-intent consumers across the Smytten ecosystem.
The UAE expansion is expected to help the company strengthen partnerships with enterprises across FMCG, retail, beauty, lifestyle and emerging consumer categories in the Middle East market.
PulseAI Research recently appointed Shishir Varma to lead the company’s next phase of enterprise growth.

“What excites us about the Middle East market is the growing demand for faster, more agile, and data-led consumer intelligence systems,” said Swagat Sarangi, Co-Founder of PulseAI Research. “The UAE is emerging as a strong hub for innovation and AI adoption, making it an important market for our next phase of growth. We look forward to partnering with brands across the region through AI-powered, real-time consumer intelligence.”
With the appointment of Shishir Varma as CEO, the addition of Chirag Desai to its advisory board and its expansion into the UAE, PulseAI Research is strengthening its footprint across the Middle East as it scales its AI-powered consumer intelligence platform globally.
