Chennai: Tamil Infotainment Channel Puthiyathalaimurai TV has announced Sakthi Awards 2018, which recognises and celebrates women achievers in every walk of life, in coincidence with this Womens day.
After the hat trick success of the Sakthi Awards , Puthiyathalaimurai gears up for the 4th successful year of celebrating and empowering women. With women’s day around the corner, the channel will be honoring woman stalwarts in their respective fields of excellence.
This year also the Channel will honour a new set of legendary achievers and promising stars of future with 6 different categories of awards namely Leadership Award, Kindness Award, Ability Award, Courage Award, Literary Award and Lifetime Achievement Award.
As the name “Sakthi” translates to is Energy, Power, Movement, Change, Nature – the award goes to empower and encourage women who have gone beyond the barriers to prove their power and perseverance.
Nominees will be shortlisted with research support from Puthiyathalaimurai Magazine and Puthiyathalaimurai Channel. A special panel of judges will be selecting the award winners with the help ofpublic voting through Puthiyathalaimurai.com, Puthiyathalaimurai Magazine and Puthiyathalaimurai TV.

The glittering award ceremony will take place at The Trade Center, Nandhanam, Chennai on Friday, the 2nd of March, 2018 at 06:30 pm.The televised event footage will be aired at a later date on Puthiyathalaimurai TV.
