Every year the channel recognizes legends and eminent rising stars for their achievements, contribution to the country and to the society. The Channel will be honouring them with the prestigious Puthiyathaliamurai Tamilan awards.
Puthiyathalaimurai TV is set to announce the Tamilan Awards for the year 2017 in grand mega event organised on 07th of July 2017 at 6.00 pm at Chennai Trade Centre.

- PuthiyaThalaimuraiTamilian Entertainer (Cinema/ Music)
Each category has a two sub divisions under which an Eminent legend and a Promising Star will be recognized.
This will be the 6th consecutive year of Puthiyathalaimurai Tamilan Awards and The Channel will air the televised event of PuthiyaThalaimurai Tamilan Awards 2017 at a later date.
Puthiyathalaimurai has roped in Ramraj as its titled sponsor and Justdial as Powered by Sponsor for the event.
