Mumbai: PVR INOX a multiplex operator, has announced a strategic partnership with JioStar to screen the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka 2026 live across select cinemas nationwide. Building on the strong audience response to live sports screenings in recent years, this collaboration brings the excitement of world-class cricket to the big screen, delivering a high-impact, stadium-like viewing experience for fans across the country.

Under this association, PVR INOX will showcase select group-stage matches, including all India fixtures, followed by Super 8 encounters, Playoffs, Semi-Finals and the Final, subject to local permissions.

Aamer Bijli, lead specialist – Innovation, Film Marketing and Digital Programming, PVR INOX said, “We are excited to partner with JioStar to bring the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 to our cinemas. Cricket and cinema are two of the biggest passions in the country, and this association allows fans to experience the excitement of the tournament together on the big screen. Last year, we saw a very strong response to our live cricket screenings across cities, which clearly showed the growing appeal of watching marquee matches in cinemas. At PVR INOX, we remain focused on enhancing the out of home entertainment experience by bringing iconic sporting events closer to audiences across India.”

This collaboration allows cricket enthusiasts to experience the intensity and emotion of the World Cup on a cinematic scale, combining the thrill of live sport with the comfort, scale and advanced technology of PVR INOX cinemas. Audiences can further enhance their match-day experience with PVR INOX’s signature food and beverage offerings, turning every screening into a shared celebration.

Ticket pricing has been structured to remain accessible, with prices starting from Rs. 99. This initiative reinforces PVR INOX’s strategy to expand its content offerings beyond traditional films, enabling audiences across metros as well as tier-2 and tier-3 cities to access world-class live sporting events closer to home. Screenings will take place across key markets including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Surat, Kochi, Delhi, Gurgaon, Bhopal, Jaipur, Raipur, Guwahati, Kolkata, and more, ensuring wide accessibility for cricket fans nationwide.
