Raj TV Mudhalvan Awards 2016 will be held on Saturday, 30th July 2016 at Image Auditorium, MRC Nagar, Raja Annamalaipuram, Chennai. The Awards Ceremony will have a Cultural and Music activities that will be followed by Award distribution ceremony between 6.00 PM to 8.30 PM.
As part of their mission to bring qualitative changes in the lives of the under privileged and deserving people of the state, every year the Channel conducts Mudhalvan Awards.
Raj TV have instituted Mudhalvan Awards in the year 1999 and this year it would be hosting the Mudhalvan Awards 2016 that will be Eighteenth year of Award Ceremony in succession.
The award will recognize, honour and felicitate the District Toppers of 10th and 12th standard students of Tamil Nadu State Board Examinations in presence of eminent personalities from various walks of the society.
Mudhalvan Awards is part of Raj TV’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative towards promotion of education and encourage the academic excellence of Students excelling in their Board exams with top scors.
The District Student Toppers along with their parents are brought to Chennai and Mudhalvan (topper) Medal will be distributed to them and they will also be given a chance to get a better perspective of the metropolitan city of Chennai.
The entire expense of the topper Students and their parents will be borne by Raj TV. The Chief Guests of Mudhalvan Awards 2016 includes Shri. Pon. Radhakrishnan. Hon’ble Minister of State for Shipping, Highways and Road Transport. Actor Jayam Ravi. Directors Samuthirakani and Mysskin and actress Sangeetha.
