Chennai : The lading Satellite Television Network Raj TV is celebrating the Divine Music festival month of ‘Margazhi’ with a month long Karnatic Music Festival titled ”Margazhi Isai”
The month of Marghazi starts on 16th December and the channel has charted its plans for celebrating the Margazhi Music fever with a uniqueness, by extending the opportunity to new budding young Katnatic singers to perform with the trained professionals to groom and the growing talent of the youngsters. This will be an wonderful opportunity for the young talents to fine tune their skills with a real time experience.
The channel has scheduled this special 30 minutes ‘Margazhi Isai’ special capsule for telecast from 16th of December’14 to 14th of January’ 2015 on every Monday to Saturday @ 6:30 PM.
Margazhi is the most beautiful month in the Tamilnadu. Lord Krishna says that he is the month of Margazhi from which one can imagine the beauty and sanctity of this month. Visiting temple in the early hours during the month would be auspicious, which is the tradition old followed by our people over the ages, and it has been proven scientifically that the Ozone layer will be closest to the earth during the month of Marghazi (Sanskrit name of month : Dhanus) which makes our health normal, while having breathing the fresh air in the early morning. All the temples in the month will be open in the early morning and special poojas are conducted to the deities.
During the month of Margazhi, Andal recited 30 versus of Thiruppaavai and followed the Paavai Nombu (fasting) and attained Lord Mahavishnu.
Thus the channel Raj TV celebrates the Margazhi fever with its month long Karnatic music festival with an unique approach of introducing new talents and grooming them with trained masters.
