Mumbai: According to the media reports, Rajesh Sareen has stepped down from his role as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Zee Media Corporation Limited (ZMCL). Sareen had taken over the position from Mona Jain in September last year.
With over two decades of experience in media advertising sales, business development, and key account management, Sareen has worked across television, digital, and print platforms.
Before joining ZMCL, he served as Revenue Head at CNBC & CNN News Cluster, where he played a key role in driving revenue strategy and strengthening advertiser relationships. He has also held senior leadership positions at Star India Private Limited, Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd (The Times Group), and HT Media Ltd, contributing significantly to the growth of their media and advertising businesses.
Sareen’s departure marks another notable movement in the media industry’s leadership landscape as companies continue to evolve amid shifting advertising trends and digital transformation.
