Mumbai: Rajiv Rajaram has stepped down from his role as Head of Content (Tamil) at SonyLIV, after serving for more than two years.
Announcing his exit on LinkedIn, Rajaram wrote, “Two and a half years, countless stories, and some of the most talented colleagues I’ve had the privilege to work with, my time at Sony LIV has been a chapter I’ll always value. Thank you Saugata Mukherjee and Danish Khan.”
Reflecting on his journey, he added, “I came in with big dreams, and I leave with even bigger ones. The work, the people, and the challenges here have shaped me in ways I’ll carry into whatever comes next. And yes… something is next. Something I’ve been building quietly, close to my heart. Rooted in the things I love most. More soon. To everyone at Sony LIV, thank you for the trust, the collaboration, and the belief.”
Rajaram joined SonyLIV in 2023, where he played a key role in strengthening Tamil content for the platform. Prior to this, he worked across several leading companies including Culture Machine Studios, Stray Factory, Capital Film Works – India, Yash Raj Films, OPN Advertising, Radio One, Ogilvy & Mather, Rediffusion Y&R, and Moulis Advertising.
