Ramping, the startup ecosystem up a notch : women, to women’s rescue!

Life is a party if you enjoy it! well, I know of a few people who are living the life of a start-up party, where they had their own fair share of struggles, hurdles, growth, and success they enjoy and in their 2nd year on this bitter-sweet journey (which is 10% bitter and 90% sweet), the reason for the 90% sweetness is the 90% women power in this team of 50+ employees, which claims to be a part of one happy tribe called Budding Influencers. 

Documenting their words on the occasion of Women’s day this 2022, two women talk about the women energy which Budding Influencer claims and slays with pride as they grow more and more, becoming one of the fastest-growing Influencer marketing companies in the country.

“I personally feel that behind every successful woman, there are many other women who are rooting for her, backing her, helping her out, it could be in the form of her mom, sister, friends, or relatives” is how Sanober Surani, Co-Founder & Marketing Head, Budding Influencers feels. “We have heard of this phrase ” A woman can make your home heaven”, well in my experience women can make the workplace not only fun but also productive in their own unique way. I feel that if you have women in your organization, you can easily reach the success ladder. Back when we started in 2020, not even in my wildest of dreams had I foreseen that two years later Budding Influencers would become such a vivacious and growing family with 90 percent of our overall team, and 100 percent of the top management team composed of Women. This speaks for itself and is symbolic of why I feel the way I feel because it is the women of Budding Influencers that built this start-up and made it the empire it is” 

Furthermore, she elaborated “We at Budding Influencers have witnessed women empowerment with our woman power, ranging from girls who are fresh graduates to women who wish to make a comeback in their careers after marriage, breaks, and even after conceiving! 

We cherish the women collective surrounding us and cannot thank them enough. This Women’s day I, on behalf of the entire Budding Influencers company would take the opportunity to appreciate the women working with us as we grow from a company of 5 to 50. Our girls at Budding Influencers are big at the camaraderie we share, the bond we carry as a team, because I know we haven’t only helped each other grow professionally but have also grown to admire, respect, and grow together as good friends, hence creating not just a productive and fun workplace but also being cheerleaders to each other in our personal lives. It’s impeccable how we have cracked the code to create a community of women that not only helps but also upscales each other in different fields and skills. Whether it’s getting a big client on board or reporting and managing the clients during campaigns, everyone’s there for everyone and that is the momentum I wish to keep going throughout the years to come.”

Shreya Agarwal, Influencer Marketing Head, Budding Influencer emphasized how the company has aced the recipe to growth and claimed the energy women carry: “From top to bottom Budding influencers is all women, and it personally makes me so happy to work in a space that appreciates and acknowledges women for their skills, talents, and caliber. I am a spectator to the kind of growth we as an establishment has achieved and all I have to say is, the thing about Budding Influencers is, it feels great to be surrounded by such dynamic women who bring so much more to the table with the hope and will to make headway professionally as a company. I have seen women go an extra mile to help each other out and sometimes we actually tend to feel the warmth and strength as a console, as a team. People generally think that, with majority women, the competitiveness can get extreme or that work would not be as smooth; but honestly the case here is, it is women who come to women’s rescue and everyone’s just trying to appreciate each other and be there for each other, help each other grow as individuals. For me the takeaway experience has been ‘Fulfilling’ at best, the fem energy here, is real!” 

As part of the closing statement, Ms. Sanober Surani left us with a very thoughtful note: “Women are not Women’s biggest enemies, but their biggest strength. This time, this era is a great time for women in business, there are inspiring women in every nook and corner, there is an even playing field and women are geared to take their rightful place sitting on the top. With a new decade in hand, the 2020s is about women climbing the corporate ladders, and what we witness currently is a testament to that.”
