Red Comet Films crafts a visual punch for Bangur Cement’s latest Campaign

New Delhi: Red Comet Films (RCF), the Delhi-based production house known for its cinematic storytelling and brand-led content, has teamed up with creative agency Ginger Monkey to launch a striking new ad campaign for Bangur Magna Cement. Built around the compelling insight that “what’s truly strong doesn’t need to shout,” the campaign combines visual tension with storytelling simplicity to deliver a lasting message: when it comes to building a solid home, the quality of concrete makes all the difference.

Directed by Vikalp Chabbra and produced by Ankit Ahuja, the film features acclaimed actors Abhishek Banerjee in the Hindi version and Suhas in the Telugu adaptation. The ad opens with a relatable yet high-stakes premise: two teams compete to build the strongest house possible using different materials. The suspense builds until a single hammer blow reveals the winner — the home constructed with Bangur Magna Cement.

“There is something powerful about letting the product speak for itself. Our goal was to make you feel the difference, not just hear about it. That is what this film does. And having actors like Abhishek and Suhas bring it to life across languages just made it hit harder,” said Ankit Ahuja, Founder and Producer at Red Comet Films.

The film creatively illustrates the core value of strength without resorting to excessive dialogue or overt branding, instead relying on cinematic impact to communicate its message.

Commenting on the brand’s intent, Sushrut Pant, Marketing Head, Shree Cement Ltd, said, “Our brand Bangur Cement strives to solve the problems of our key consumer segment, the independent home builders. The homes they build would only be as good as the concrete they use and with our premium products, Bangur Magna and Bangur Roofon Plus, we promise them solid concrete solutions for solid homes. We have identified a unique insight that consumers worry about the quality of unbranded items used for concrete like sand, aggregates, and water. We solve for this concern by reassuring consumers through our advertisements that with Magna and Roofon Plus cement they do not need to worry about the quality of concrete.”

Ginger Monkey’s founder Abhishek Asthana elaborated on the creative approach, “The best kind of storytelling is when the message lands without saying much. This film is built on that belief, where a simple test becomes a metaphor for trust, and strength becomes something you feel. The challenge was to keep it rooted, relatable, and rewarding and the result is a story that sticks.”

Director Vikalp Chabbra emphasized the visual tone and emotional impact of the piece, “We wanted to create an ad that feels real and stays with you, not just another product demonstration. We focused on visual tension and contrast, building up to a payoff that is both satisfying and rooted in truth.”

This campaign adds to Red Comet Films’ impressive portfolio, which spans a diverse clientele including Mini Cooper, Platinum Guild India, The Estée Lauder Companies, and Pee Safe. Known for its ability to balance cinematic craft with brand clarity, RCF continues to push creative boundaries while staying grounded in storytelling that connects.
