RED FM 93.5 organized Business Brilliance Awards across the key cities of Andhra viz. Vishakhapatnam, Nellore and Vijayawada. The awards given across various categories of business verticals were curated to recognize, applaud, and encourage the heroes from the Business community who have displayed their dauntless mettle and strived to keep their heads above the water during the pandemic. They even aided their employees to withstand the drastic impact of the pandemic – financially and emotionally.
The core objective behind the Red FM Business Brilliance awards was to recognise these business leaders and entrepreneurs for their exceptional Leadership Qualities, Innovative Ideas and Service Orientation.
A total of 118 awards were presented to the business stalwarts across the cities of Vishakapatnam, Nellore and Vijaywada who inspired the society with their excellent strategies, compassion and contributions to their employees.
In the city of Vishakapatnam a total of 38 business heroes were awarded by the honourable chief guests: Former CBI Joint Director, VV Lakshmi Narayana (IPS), GVMC Commissioner Lakshmishah, (IAS) and Tollywood Actor Nikhil Siddharth.
In Nellore, 49 awards were given to recognize and honour the business community and entrepreneurs by the chief guests Sri Vakati Vijaya Kumar Reddy,-Townhall Board Member and Former TTD Dharmika Advisory Council Member, Sri Bhayya Srinivas,-Social Reformer and TTD Property Protection Council Member.
In Vijayawada, 31 awards were given to the business community and entrepreneurs by chief guests: Former CBI Joint Director VV Lakshmi Narayana (IPS), J. Nivas (IAS) Commissioner – Health and Family Welfare Department, and Mr. Prakash AGM, Canara bank.
RED FM BUSINESS BRILLIANCE AWARDS 2022 brought to the fore stories of unsung heroes from the business community. Dilip Patro was once such hero who was awarded ‘EXCELLENCE IN HUMANITARIAN SERVICE’ under CSR category in the Awards ceremony that was held in Vishakapatnam earlier this month.
While he was on his way to America in pursuit of a dream to be successful software professional, Dilip Patro met with an accident which resulted in a serious spinal injury that left him a quadriplegic – paralyzed waist below. But, Dilip didn’t let this tragedy quench his spirit. He started a Non- Profit organization ‘The Ability People’ (TAP) in 2007 which aimed to provide rehabilitation for crash survivors in and around Visakhapatnam.
Ever since, TAP has been rendering services to people with spinal cord injuries and aspires to create a measurable and sustainable impact in the lives of PwDs (persons with disabilities) from under privileged communities.

We are overwhelmed by the response we have received so far from the business community and are thankful to eminent personalities who had presided over these events . We hope to take this across other key states in the country very soon.”
