Jules Garcia has been appointed as Country Growth Lead – Philippines at Reddit, Inc. He previously worked for TikTok as Head of Community Management.
In his new role, Jules is responsible to drive growth to the platform through content, community, and growth marketing initiatives.
Revealing the new position on his LinkedIn handle, Jules shared, “After 3 years at TikTok, I’ve joined Reddit, Inc. as the first Country Lead for the Philippines! I’ll help accelerate the platform’s growth and international expansion in Southeast Asia with the support of my amazing International Growth and PH teams. For starters, what’s your favorite subreddit?”
Prior to Reddit, Inc., Jules worked for Tik Tok between 2021 and 2024, where he played the roles of Manager – News, Partnerships, and Operations and Head of Community Management. Before joining Tik Tok, he associated with GMA Network, Inc., from 2016 to 2021. He played major roles at the company including Online Content Producer, Senior Multimedia Producer and Assistant Manager, News and Public Affairs Digital.
With 9+ years of experience of working for world-renowned tech and broadcast/digital media disruptors, Jules has expertise in technology, business, operations and marketing strategies.
