Mumbai: Tata Digital has announced the appointment of Sajith Sivanandan as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective September 2025. Currently serving as President of Jio Mobile Digital Services, Sivanandan brings nearly three decades of leadership experience to his new role.
The leadership transition comes in the wake of former CEO Naveen Tahliyani’s exit earlier this year and forms part of a broader organisational restructuring at Tata Digital.
Sivanandan’s professional journey spans technology, telecom, media, digital payments, and consulting, with significant contributions across India and the Asia-Pacific region. A major portion of his career was spent at Google, where he held multiple senior roles during his 15-year tenure. His portfolio also includes leadership stints with global tech firms, large media organisations, and emerging startups, giving him a well-rounded perspective on digital transformation and consumer technology.
Industry observers believe his appointment signals Tata Digital’s intent to strengthen its leadership bench and accelerate its growth trajectory in India’s rapidly evolving digital ecosystem.
