Prasar Bharti announced the results of the 43rd online e-auction for allotment of 04, MPEG-4 slots on DD Free Dish.
Samay, 9X Jalwa, Sangeet Bangla and JK 24×7 News are the successful channels that have made to the 43rd online E-Auction for the allotment of MPEG-4 TV slots.
The online e-auction was open for private satellite TV channels for filling up MPEG-4 TV slots of DD Free Dish. These channels will be made available from 1st February 2020 to 14th May 2020 as pro-rata basis. Channels had to apply in the Bidder Registration form which was made available on the official website site.
Obviously, only private TV channels and International TV channels that are licensed by the Ministry of I&B were allowed to participate in this auction.
The auction was available an open to all genres (channels) with a reserve price of INR 16,50,000.
