Mumbai: Samco Asset Management has announced the appointment of Pankit Shah as Chief Business Officer (CBO), marking a significant step in the company’s strategy to scale and strengthen its market presence. In his new role, Pankit will lead the overall business strategy and operations of the mutual fund, with a strong focus on sales, marketing, product development, and distribution.
Bringing over 17 years of experience in investment management, distribution strategy, and client engagement, Pankit has a proven track record of building and expanding financial businesses across geographies. Prior to joining Samco, he was Director – Client Relations at ARGA Investment Managers, where he played a key role in growing the firm’s reach across India, the Middle East, and Thailand.
His previous stints include senior positions at White Oak Capital, Motilal Oswal AMC, Axis Bank, and Enam Securities, where he led initiatives to build B2B distribution networks, develop alternate product platforms, and drive both domestic and international fundraising efforts.

A Commerce graduate from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, Pankit is also an All India rank-holder from the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (CWA). His appointment underscores Samco Mutual Fund’s intent to strengthen its leadership team and offer differentiated, long-term investment solutions for India’s growing base of investors.
