New Delhi: SanchiConnect, a DeepTech enablement network, announces the appointment of Vijay Bawra, former Senior Director at T-Hub, as Vice President – New Initiatives & Growth. This strategic appointment comes at a time when SanchiConnect is entering its next phase of growth, with a strong focus on ecosystem expansion, deeptech engagement with corporate innovations/government, and cross-border collaboration.
In his role at SanchiConnect, Vijay will lead new strategic initiatives, strengthen enterprise-startup collaborations, expand the organisation’s ecosystem presence, and drive global partnerships, particularly in the deep tech space. His appointment further strengthens SanchiConnect’s leadership team as the platform continues to scale its role as a key enabler connecting startups, corporates, investors, and global innovation partners.
Vijay Bawra has been an ecosystem builder with over 19 years of experience across startup ecosystems, corporate innovation, and entrepreneurship. Most recently, he served as Senior Director at T-Hub, where he led startup innovation programs for early-stage and growth-stage companies and worked closely with founders, corporates, investors, and global ecosystem partners to drive scale, market access, and innovation outcomes.
Prior to T-Hub, Vijay was part of Amazon, where he managed high-impact programs and developed strong operational and execution expertise within a global corporate environment. He also served as Regional Head for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana at NASSCOM 10,000 Startups, where he played an instrumental role in building and scaling the startup ecosystem by mentoring startups, building investor and mentor networks, and fostering partnerships with corporates, government bodies, accelerators, and incubators.

In addition to his corporate and ecosystem leadership roles, Vijay has entrepreneurial experience as a co-founder of multiple ventures, giving him firsthand insight into the challenges of building and scaling startups. Earlier in his career, he worked with Infosys as a Senior Design Engineer, where he developed strong technical and team leadership capabilities.
