Bangalore : Saral Jeevan, the 1st infotainment channel in Kannada, is all set to present farmer awards (Mannina Maga / Son of the Soil awards) for some of the most inspiring farmers. The 30 days campaign, which started with unveiling of farmers’ anthem, followed by inviting the public to nominate farmers, and panel of jury identifying the top few from hundreds of entries, comes to an end this Sunday with shortlisted formers from across Karnataka coming together for the awards ceremony.
Saral Jeevan’s program for farmers on the same name is very popular for over 2 years and won many accolades, the awards are an extension of the program. Sponsored by Sri Datri Developers & Promoters, Mannina Maga Awards to take place in presence of key ministers from Govt. of Karnataka and agriculture scientists. The winners would be felicitated with memento & cash prize. Special telecast of the awards ceremony and few performances that are designed around the spirit of farmers is scheduled for 2nd Dec. on Saral Jeevan.
