Saral Jeevan to launch prime time game show Hotseat on 8th October

Bangalore: Saral Jeevan, infotainment channel in Kannada, is all set to launch a prime time game show on 8 th October. Designed with content that engages viewers with interesting facts from India’s legacy and history, the USP of HotSeat is every participant wins, and participation is through SMS Or HotSeat App. Participants’ score would be accumulated and probability of winning bigger prizes goes up by answering more questions right. Starting from Rs.2000 gift hampers to prizes worth up to rupees a lac, many prizes to be won.

“Curiosity, knowledge, Indian spirit and ample prizes’ is the essence of the show. Programs of Saral Jeevan are always inspired by India’s rich heritage and culture, HotSeat content too is built around the same. Core viewers of Saral Jeevan are under 40 years; youth follows our channel in a big way as they see our programs as knowledge & entertaining. Post to success of programs like Grandmother Tales (Ajjhelida Kathe), History, Adhbutha Bharatha and Mahaan Sadhakaru, HotSeat will be new and big knowledge sharing platform for Kannada viewers” says Raghunatha Reddy, Business Head of Saral Jeevan.

Saral Jeevan is producing this game show in association with Innovative Advanced Media Management Pvt. Limited (IAMPL), which had designed many reality shows and events for Kannada GEC channels in the past.

“Saral Jeevan has a credibility of excellent info-entertainment programming; and viewers always have high expectation from our creative team to come out with a format that beats the past projects’ records. HotSeat balances both and delivers an innovative and interesting game show. The kind of ground promotions that we have planned assures maximum reach and engagement” says Madhusudhan, Managing Director, IAMPL.

HotSeat to telecast Monday-Friday at 8.30pm; phase 1 plan is for 66 episodes (3 months). The program is sponsored by Kanva Sri Sai Hospital, Powered by Indus 555TMT & Walkmate Footwear, special partner: Sri Krishna Ghee, My Dr. Pain Relief Oil & Sudarshan Jewellers; associate sponsors: Royal Gold Tea.

Saral Jeevan telecasts News and non-fiction programming with a focus on mythology, history, travel and insights from Indian heritage & culture. By being away from both News & GEC channels, Saral Jeevan has created its own niche space among Kannada TV viewers. Channel philosophy is to present inspiring, motivational and factual content that is positive in nature. A full-fledged satellite channel is available across MSOs in Karnataka and on DTH platforms (Airtel # 967, Videocon # 686 and Reliance Big TV # 836). Saral Jeevan is part of CG Parivar Group, founded by Dr. Sri Chandrashekhar Guruji, who is the pioneer in Saral Vaastu.
