MUMBAI: Shashank Singh has taken over as the lead for Revenue – India Operations at Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited (CSKCL).
Sharing the update on LinkedIn, Singh wrote, “While already on job for 8 months, on this auspicious day of Vinayaka Chaturthi, I’m happy to share that I have taken up the responsibility of Leading Revenue – India Operations at Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited!”
He further added, “As I continue this journey, I look forward to sharing insights on CSK fan cohort buying behaviour and exploring how peers and brands can collaborate to unlock the true potential of sports fandom.”
Backed by over 12 years of cross-industry experience, Singh has built expertise in driving top-line growth, brand positioning, and EBITDA across sectors including Building & Construction, Smart Homes, Automobiles, Sports, and Telecom. “I am passionate about unlocking the potential of the 30 Crore Aspiring Urban India through innovative and sustainable solutions,” he said.
Over the years, Shashank Singh has delivered consistent business growth across diverse industries. At India Cements, he boosted trade business revenue from 48% to 60%, leading to higher EBITDA. During his tenure at Hogar Controls, he scaled the top-line by 5x and increased active users by 80x, cementing the company’s position as a market leader through strong distribution and targeted media strategies. With Gulf Oil, he achieved a 12% CAGR over four years by driving research-based campaigns and strategic partnerships.
At Chennai Super Kings, Singh played a key role in building the #1 engaged fan currency in the IPL, which significantly enhanced merchandise revenue. Earlier at Amdocs, he accelerated product suite revenue by driving cross-selling initiatives and acquiring new clients, improving both ROI and customer satisfaction.
With this appointment, Singh will be spearheading CSK’s revenue strategy in India, leveraging his proven track record to deepen fan engagement and unlock new commercial opportunities.
