This film is a biopic of late Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar – a legendary Marathi actor’s journey to the peak of popularity, unfortunate events that had disturbed his personal and professional life unto his sad demise at an early age. The movie is a visual treat for the viewers with Subodh Bhaveportraying the lead character of Dr.Kashinath Ghanekar along with Sumeet Raghavan and Sonali Kulkarni.
Subodh’s talent for presenting a multi-layered personality on screen has been appreciated by the critics in the past. The movie was very well received by Kanchan Ghanekar (Kashinath Ghanekar’s wife) who was impressed with Subodh Bhave and director Abhijeet Deshpande’s work for doing justice to the character without even meeting Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar or ever seeing any of his plays.
