New Delhi: Shree Cement, one of India’s leading cement manufacturers renowned for operational excellence and its deep commitment to employee well-being, has announced the appointment of Jay Mukhopadhyay as Corporate Safety Head.
Mukhopadhyay brings with him over three decades of extensive experience in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), having led safety programs across large-scale industrial operations. Widely recognized for his ability to embed safety into organizational culture, he is known for championing strategic interventions and people-first policies that go beyond compliance to create genuinely safe work environments.
In his new role at Shree Cement, Mr. Mukhopadhyay will be responsible for spearheading the company’s safety vision across all plants and project sites. His mandate includes developing a unified safety framework, strengthening behavioral safety practices, and ensuring that workplace health and safety standards align with global best practices.
