Mumbai: Shriram Asset Management Company Ltd. (Shriram AMC), part of the Shriram Group, has announced the appointment of Prateek Nigudkar as Senior – Fund Manager. This strategic hire underlines the company’s commitment to deepening its Quantamental investment capabilities—blending data-driven insights with robust fundamental research to build differentiated investment solutions.
In his new role, Prateek will contribute significantly to Shriram AMC’s overall investment strategy with a strong focus on quantitative portfolio construction, asset allocation, and research-driven frameworks. He brings with him over 13 years of experience in the financial industry.
Prateek joins from Jio BlackRock Mutual Fund, where he was instrumental in shaping investment strategies within the Equity Investments team. Prior to that, he spent seven years at DSP Mutual Fund, managing funds across Quantitative, Fundamental, and Asset Allocation strategies, and building frameworks that combined analytics with fundamental insights. His early career includes over five years at Credit Suisse as a Quant and Thematic Research Analyst, where he developed custom tools and insights for institutional and private clients.

A Master’s graduate in Quantitative Finance from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, Prateek has successfully cleared all levels of the CFA and FRM programs.
