Mumbai: Get ready for India’s Best Dancer Season 4 on Sony Entertainment Television. Contestants will showcase their dance skills with the theme “Jab Dil Kare Dance Kar.” Judges Geeta Kapur, Terence Lewis, and Karisma Kapoor will evaluate the talents. Host Jay Bhanushali returns with Aniket Chauhan. Premiering on 13th July, every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm on Sony Entertainment Television.
Each season, from the very first audition, contestants have just 90 seconds to impress the judges, also known as E.N.T specialists. This season, Karisma Kapoor will judge based on ‘Entertainment,’ Geeta Kapur on ‘Newness,’ and Terence Lewis on ‘Technique,’ with contestants required to showcase at least three power moves. A new feature this season is “Mauka Ya Chauka,” where contestants receiving the best buzzer face a unique challenge. Opting for ‘Mauka’ grants a direct entry into the Top 12, bypassing Mega Auditions, while choosing ‘Chauka’ involves a dance-off against a former contestant now on the jury panel. Contestants will either secure a spot in the Top 12 or be sent home. During the Mega Auditions, contestants will compete in pairs or trios to advance to the next round. At the Grand Premiere, the judges will announce the Top 12 contestants, dubbed the ‘Best Barah,’ who will then be paired with their respective mentor/choreographer for the journey ahead. Each week, these contestants will compete, striving to get one step closer to winning the coveted title of India’s Best Dancer.
