Starting 11am on Saturday January 26, factual entertainment channel Sony BBC Earth will air a marathon of ‘desi’ content to intensify the patriotic vibes and make India ‘feel alive’. The channel will showcase a unique side of India with iconic shows like Ganges with Sue Perkins, Tuning 2 You, Monumental Challenge – Taj Mahal, Joanna Lumely’s India, Kolkata with Sue Perkins, Hidden India, Kumbh Mela, Rick Stein’s India and Shaun Micallef’s Stairway to Heaven – stories that the country is proud of.
Sony PIX, home to blockbuster Hollywood movies, will celebrate true heroes and victories to mark India’s 70th Republic Day by airing epic movies like 300, Rambo: First Blood 2, Battleship, Suicide Squad, Mad Max: Fury Road and The Great Wall. That’s not all.
