Chennai: Sun TV network owned OTT platform Sun NXT has digital premiered director Sundar.C’s latest comedy blockbuster Kalakalappu 2 on 15th March 2018, ahead of Satellite Premiere. The movie was released on 9th Feb and is still running in theatres successfully. The movie stars Jai – Nikki Galrani, Jiiva – Catherine Tresa in lead roles.
The rib tickling comedy flick is a wholesome entertainer and has a host of comedy stars like Yogi Babu, Radharavi, Sathish, Robo Shankar, VTV Ganesh, Manobala who contribute to the hilarious fun ride.
The story revolves around the two couples, who eventually meet in Kasi and the film is a light hearted comedy with colorful elements that beautifully captures the beauty of Kasi and Karaikudi. Jai, comes to Kasi in search of his ancestral property & meets Jiiva, who runs a mansion at Kasi. Meanwhile a politician along with his henchmen comes there in search of his laptop with all his data. All the characters meet by destiny and the comedy of errors forms the rest of the story, which makes it a complete laughter riot. Actor Shiva has also played a prominent role in the movie. Sundar.C has taken the entertainment quotient up a notch with his unique style of humour and glamour.
Hiphop Tamizha has scored the music and is produced by Avni Cinemax. Actress Nandita Swetha is seen playing the guest role in climax.
