Mumbai: Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has elevated Sunanda Khaitan as Chief Marketing Officer – Beauty & Wellbeing at Unilever. In her new role, she will lead the marketing strategy for the Beauty & Wellbeing portfolio, strengthening brand growth and consumer engagement across categories.
Prior to this appointment, Khaitan served as Vice President and Business Head – Lakme at HUL, where she played a key role in driving the brand’s evolution, relevance and market leadership. She has been associated with Unilever since 2006, spending the majority of her nearly two-decade-long career with the FMCG major.
Announcing the development on LinkedIn, Khaitan said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Beauty & Wellbeing , HUL at Unilever!”
Before joining Unilever, Khaitan worked at Dabur India Limited, where she began her professional journey as an Area Sales Manager in 2005. Her career spans extensive experience across sales, brand management and marketing leadership roles.
With deep expertise in brand management, sales, customer and consumer insight, marketing strategy, FMCG and marketing management, Khaitan is widely regarded as a seasoned leader with a strong understanding of India’s evolving beauty and wellbeing consumer landscape.
