TAM Ratings of Top Hindi GECs for Week 3 and 10 Top rated shows

Mumbai : As per the ratings of Hindi GEC for week 3, All channels wittnessed a decline while Star Plus and Sony remained unchanged.

According to TAM data for week 3, Star Plus’ ratings stood unchanged the same as that of last week at 613 million GVTs. In week 2, its ratings dropped significantly to 613 million GVTs from 654 in week 1.

Colors saw its ratings fall to 485 million GVTs from 510 in week 2. In week 1 its ratings were recorded at 520 million GVTs.

Zee TV also saw its ratings decline this week. The channel’s ratings were recorded at 417 million GVTs from 433 in week 2. Last week, the channel’s ratings had increased partially from 430 million GVTs in week 1.

SAB TV’s ratings continued to fall even this week. In week 3, the channel’s ratings slipped to 318 million GVTs from 328 in week 2. It suffered a setback last week as its ratings dipped to 328 million GVTs from 335 in week 1.

Similarly, Life OK also saw its ratings reduce to 316 million GVTs this week from 339 in week 2. Last week, the channel had seen a partial increase in its ratings from 338 million GVTs in week 1.

SET’s ratings remained the same at 235 million GVTs like in the previous week. In week 2, its ratings had slid down to 235 million GVTs from 264 in week 1.

Zee Anmol saw a decline in its ratings to 87 million GVTs in week 3 from 93 in week 2, while Star Utsav also slipped to 80 million GVTs from 87 last week.

Big Magic saw its ratings decline marginally to 57 million GVTs in week 3 from 62 in week 2. Rishtey, on the other hand, saw its ratings fall to 52 million GVTs in week 3 from 63 the last week.

Sony Pal’s ratings increased marginally to 29 million GVTs this week from 28 in week 2. Zindagi saw its ratings decline to 24 million GVTs from 30 in week 2.

Epic channel’s ratings continued to rise steadily to 8.3 million GVTs this week from 7.6 in week 2. Sahara One saw its ratings increase partially to 11 million GVTs in week 3 to 10 the last week.

Top 10 Shows of Hindi GEC in week 3

Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum was the most watched show on Hindi GECs with an average of 10429 TVTs. It was followed by Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya that clocked 9192 TVTs.

The next two spots are occupied by Star Plus’ Saathiya Saath Nibhana and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein that notched 9076 TVTs and 8461 TVTs, respectively in the week. Next is Colors Stardust Awards that recorded a viewership of 8343 TVTs. SAB TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka… took the sixth spot in the hierarchy with 8071 TVTs.

The next is Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai that wrapped up the week with 7691 TVTs. Following are Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka and Udaan that ended the week with 7521 TVTs and 7418 TVTs respectively. Zee TV’s Jamai Raja with 7399 TVTs is at No. 10.

For the record, TVT is television viewership in 1000s (TVR in 1000). It is the average number of individuals in ‘000s that are available at any given minute of a programme/day part that is under consideration. It captures growth in TV audiences in the country in absolute numbers. The TVR system, in contrast, works on percentages.
