Hyderabad: Hotstar VIP has added a new blockbuster title to its expansive movie library, a Telugu romantic comedy Meeku Maathrame Cheptha. Directed by Shammeer Sultan, this movie stars National Film award winner Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam along with Vani Bhojan and Abhinav Gomatam in pivotal roles. The plot follows the character Rakesh who faces a dire task against time to track down and destroy an incriminating video involving him with another woman which has suddenly appeared online just days prior to his wedding.
Meeku Maathrame Cheptha follows the life of Rakesh, who in an effort to woo his fiance has promised her that he is a teetotaler. All hell breaks loose when a scandalous video of the groom-to-be, Rakesh makes its way online just before his wedding. Will be get married peacefully or will the viral video ruin it all?
