Mumbai: Thyrocare Technologies Limited, a healthcare diagnostics company, has announced the appointment of Dr Ramesh Kinha as its Chief Operating Officer, strengthening its leadership team as it continues to scale operations across India.
Dr Kinha brings over 17 years of experience in the healthcare diagnostics sector, with deep expertise in laboratory operations and quality systems. In his new role, he will oversee lab operations across Thyrocare’s network and strengthen quality standards, with a focus on enhancing diagnostic accuracy and service delivery at scale.
Prior to joining Thyrocare, Dr Kinha served as Group Director – Laboratory Services at Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Limited, where he led key operational and quality initiatives. His career also includes senior leadership roles at Apollo Health & Lifestyle Ltd, Medall Healthcare, Metropolis Healthcare, and SRL Ltd, where he drove operational excellence and strategic transformation.

A qualified medical professional, Dr Kinha holds an MBBS degree and an MD in Pathology, along with senior management and leadership programmes from IIM Nagpur and the Indian School of Business (ISB). He is also a certified NABL assessor, bringing strong expertise in quality and regulatory excellence.
