Mumbai: Chrome DM has released its latest Opportunity to See (OTS) report for Week 8 of 2026 (February 21–27), offering a detailed snapshot of channel availability across Hindi and English news networks in India. The report measures OTS, a metric that reflects the percentage of TV households where a channel is available across distribution platforms, factoring in package off-take.
Among Hindi news channels, Times Now Navbharat recorded the highest OTS at 98.47%, followed by ABP News at 97.36%. India TV registered 92.77%, while Republic Bharat and TV9 Bharatvarsh reported 89.84% and 87.44% respectively, indicating strong distribution reach across television households.

In the English news segment, Republic TV led the distribution with an OTS of 88.62%. It was followed by CNN-News18 at 76.48% and India Today TV at 70.15%. Mirror Now recorded an OTS of 64.42%, while Times Now stood at 62.05%.

The report underlines Chrome DM’s focus on evaluating channel distribution and accessibility through OTS metrics. By mapping channel connectivity across TV households, the data offers broadcasters and media planners insights into their market presence and helps inform distribution strategies and potential expansion opportunities.
OTS (Opportunity to See) refers to the percentage of connectivity or availability of a channel across television households, calculated by factoring in the off-take of channel packages across all reported distribution platforms in India.
