Our Special Correspondent in Mumbai, Mr. Venu caught up with Divya Radhakrishnan of Helios Media and enlightens the success story of the four year old Media company and also explores the uniqueness and its specialization to understand, how they managed to carve out a niche as a leader in the Indian Media Outsourcing Business…. Here comes the whole story in Venu’s view point:

….When I walked into Helios Media for an appointment with Divya Radhakrishnan the other day, for a moment it took me down on a nostalgia trip down memory lane. Years back when she embarked on her journey into the Media Industry; vividly remember meeting her as in her office at Dacunha Advertising on the Walton Road, Colaba. From then on to a successful media person she has come a long way.

Divya, former President of TME, turned Media Entrepreneur with the launch of Helios Media. Now in its 4th successful year, it is headquartered in Mumbai with strong Regional presence in the Advertising hubs of Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkatta.

At the helm of affairs, when she formed Helios she was fully aware of a responsibilities as the custodian of the brand she is accountable to, she is aware that along with it comes the responsibility that she had to shoulder, the image, equity, promise and the future. And to put into practice what she believed she roped in Bala Iyengar,  former Business Head of Zoom Television as a Chief Operating Officer.

Helios Media Provides comprehensive outsourcing Solution to content owners for their various needs and avail of talent optimization, therefore maintain their internal cost/resource balance and healthier bottom line in the process. The mission is to look, ‘Beyond the obvious’, thus see more revenue and extract true value for the content owner and the brand.

Helios, therefore has a proven expertise in space and concept selling, Brand integration, Customer driven programming. The team at Helios is adept at combining client understanding, brand objectives and program fundamentals to optimize syndication. To sum up their primary functions, Helios Media offers:

Helios Media, therefore was launched with the vision to provide broadcasters with business critical expertise especially in the areas of Revenue Management, Brand Consulting and Creative Development.

Divya explains the logic in a press note. “While content is the primary scope of these channels, a lot of effort has to be invested in creating a robust eco-system to run the business. This is where Helios Media steps in to help create feasible viable revenue generating eco system”.

Divya added, “To assure the prospective Broadcasters a holistic solutions is where Helios as a company becomes a differentiator. As a person who has a varied Media exposure she is aware of her commitments towards the brand under her custody. You must love the brand and live the brand to a long lasting success. That’s differentiator. Just managing a brand is minding, administering and maintaining which leads to mediocrity. Having made headway in this area with many successes behind in M Tunes HD, Epic, Fashion TV, have managed a series of new channels in the  Lifestyle, GEC  and business News Space”.

“Helios Media has bagged the revenue mandate for ESSEL Groups Living Foods that went on Air on 11th September 2015 and have many more accounts on the anvils to come” said Divya.
