New Delhi: TV Today Network Limited reported a net loss of Rs 2.04 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 (Q2 FY26), reversing from a profit of Rs 7.32 crore in the previous quarter and Rs 8.35 crore in the year-ago period. The company’s performance was impacted by lower advertising revenues and higher exceptional costs.
Revenue from operations for the quarter stood at Rs 187.55 crore, down 5.5% sequentially from Rs 198.44 crore in Q1 FY26 and 9.3% lower year-on-year from Rs 206.77 crore in Q2 FY25. Total income for the quarter came in at Rs 197.11 crore, compared to Rs 212.42 crore in the preceding quarter and Rs 219.36 crore in the corresponding period last year.
On the cost front, total expenses declined 5.2% QoQ to Rs 191.96 crore from Rs 202.38 crore and were 7.6% lower YoY from Rs 207.82 crore. Production costs fell to Rs 21.12 crore, compared with Rs 24.93 crore in Q1 FY26 and Rs 24.35 crore in Q2 FY25, indicating ongoing cost optimization measures.
Profit before exceptional items and tax was Rs 5.15 crore, down 48.7% sequentially and 55.4% year-on-year. However, after accounting for exceptional expenses of Rs 7.61 crore, the company reported a loss before tax of Rs 2.46 crore.
H1 FY26 Performance
For the first half of FY26 (April–September 2025), TV Today Network reported total income of Rs 409.53 crore, a 24.3% decline from Rs 540.90 crore in the same period last year.
Total expenses during H1 FY26 stood at Rs 394.34 crore, compared to Rs 460.55 crore in H1 FY25. After exceptional items, the company posted a profit before tax of Rs 7.58 crore, while net profit for the six-month period stood at Rs 5.28 crore, significantly lower than Rs 59.78 crore recorded in H1 FY25.
