Bengaluru: TVS Motor Company (TVSM), a global player in the two- and three-wheeler segment, has announced the appointment of Peyman Kargar as Head – International Business. He will be based in Dubai and report directly to K. N. Radhakrishnan, Director & CEO, TVS Motor Company.
Peyman Kargar is a seasoned global automotive leader with over three decades of experience spanning Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. His appointment comes as TVS Motor strengthens its international footprint and prepares for expansion in advanced economies.
K. N. Radhakrishnan, Director & CEO, TVS Motor Company, welcomed Peyman to the team, stating, “Peyman’s prolific global leadership experience and expertise will add significant value to the company. Before joining TVS Motor, Peyman Kargar served as Global Chairman & President of INFINITI, the luxury brand of Nissan, where he successfully increased volume by 20% and set the business on a trajectory toward USD 1 billion in annual profit.
He has held several key positions in the automotive industry, including:
- Chairman & Sr. VP of Africa, Middle East & India Region | CEO of Datsun – Oversaw 80+ countries for Nissan Group.
- VP Sales & Marketing, Renault Group (2014–2017) – Managed €4 billion turnover & 400,000 annual sales across 50 countries.
- Managing Director, Renault Middle East & Country Manager, Iran – Led R&D, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and after-sales operations.
Peyman holds a Mechanical Engineering degree and an MBA with a focus on Finance, Strategy, and Leadership.
