Mumbai: Vanita Keswani, Chief Executive Officer of Madison Media Sigma, has stepped down from her role, bringing to a close a career spanning over three decades with Madison World.
Keswani shared the update in a LinkedIn note, reflecting on her long association with the agency and the professional relationships forged along the way. She described her years at Madison as deeply formative, crediting the organisation’s culture and leadership for shaping both her career and personal growth.
“Time has built so much over the last three decades,” she wrote, adding that she leaves with “a trove of cherished memories and relationships” as she moves on from Madison as an employee.
During her tenure, Keswani rose through multiple leadership roles before being appointed CEO of Madison Media Sigma, where she oversaw media planning and buying operations and led large client portfolios across sectors. She was also responsible for managing key client relationships and steering agency teams within the Sigma unit.
Thanking mentors and colleagues, she highlighted the role of transparent leadership and candid feedback in her development. She noted that the environment at Madison enabled her to evolve “not just as a professional, but as a person.”
Keswani said she now plans to explore independent entrepreneurial opportunities. “I am leaving a piece of my heart here, as I take with me the lessons of a lifetime,” she wrote.
She began her career at The Times Group, working in media and marketing functions before transitioning to the agency ecosystem and eventually joining Madison, where she spent the bulk of her professional journey.
