Chennai: One of the most celebrated events on Tamil television, the 3rd annual Vijay Television awards happened bigger and better this time. Television stars from Star Vijay shows came together to live a night replete with glitz and glamour.
Star Vijay celebratedits in-house gems and celebrities this year also withits 3rd Vijay Television awards that took place in a grandeur wayon May 6th in Chennai SDAT indoor multipurpose stadium.
The Award night witnessed celebrities from the film industry honoring the extraordinary talents from small screen industry.
TV stars from Vijay TV shows were honored in various categories of awards like Best actor, Best actress, Pride of the channel, Best on screen pair, Best show (fiction), Best show (Non-fiction), Best Family, Best child artist, Best Comedy show, Best comedian (Fiction) and Best comedian (Non- Fiction), Best Mamiyar, Best supporting actor (Male and female), Best anchor and the list goes on .
The charming actor Kavin hosted the event along with the gorgeous anchor turned actress Ramya. Many special performances from the favorite fiction and Nonfiction stars made the audience get glued to their seats.
The celebrated actor T. Rajendran who was a part of the channel as a judge in the show Jodi, gave a special musical performance of some peppy numbers. Some of the other awaited performances of the evening include sizzling dance performances by the adorable Senthil – Sreeja duo. And the gracious and beautiful actress Rachitha gave a stunning performance. Anchor Ramya, Anchor Bavana and the lovely actress Sindhu Shyam gave beautiful dance performances.On the other side, a rib tickling performance was given by the most acclaimed comedy show Kalakka Povathu Yaaru team.
And the young dancing talents of Vijay TV like Heeth, Rithva, Allena, Sandra and Ikshitha captivated the audience with their cute performance.And the gorgeous Dheivam thandhu Veedu actress Meghna also gave eye catchy performance for romantic and melody numbers. And everyone’s favorite couple Rio and Shruthi gave a cute performance.
The televised event of 3rd annual Vijay television awards will be aired in two parts with the first part being aired on May 21st at 4 PM and the second part on May 28th at 4 PM.
