Chennai: Star India’s Tamil GEC Vijay TV is set to launch the new season of the popular quiz show Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi’s (NVOK), the Tamil Version of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) by Mid May or Early June with a new host Actor Aravind Swamy.
The most charismatic actor Aravind Swamy has consented to occupy the hot seat in the third season of the show and vetted the dotted lines couple of days before. Aravind Swamy made a comeback in an antagonistic role in ‘Thani Oruvan’ after which he shot back to limelight. He is also making a comeback in Bollywood after 15 years with “Dear Dad”.
Vijay TV is planning a 60 Episode season that will be aired during the week days. They are yet to decide whether to air it on every Monday to Friday or to limit it up to Thursday.
The first season of NVOK hosted by Tamil actor Suriya was a huge hit, and the second season was hosted by Prakash Raj which had several guests including Kamal Hassan.
The channel is airing the teaser promos of NVOK season 3 for the past few days without revealing the host details and it is expected to commence the photo and promo shoot with actor shortly.
Vijay TV has lined up Kamal Hassan starrer Blockbuster Movie Thoongavanam and Arya – Santhanam Starrer Comedy Hit Movie VSOP on 14th April, the Tamil New Year day.
