Mumbai: Himalaya Wellness has announced its entry into the premium personal care segment with the launch of Himalaya Ayurveda Secrets, marking a significant expansion of its beauty portfolio.

Positioned as an elevated Ayurveda-based offering, the new brand blends time-honoured vidhis with refined natural ingredients, catering to consumers seeking clean beauty solutions with enhanced sensorial experiences and visible results. Anchored in the philosophy “Forever Beautiful,” the launch reflects the company’s strategic push into the premium Ayurveda space.

The brand reinterprets traditional Ayurvedic practices through a contemporary lens, focusing on authenticity and precision. At its core lies the use of traditional vidhis—specialised preparation processes designed to activate the prana, or life force, within ingredients—aimed at delivering enhanced efficacy and indulgent experiences.

As part of the launch, Himalaya Ayurveda Secrets has rolled out a series of visually rich campaign films showcasing ancient Ayurvedic preparation techniques such as Taila Pāaka Vidhi and Aditya Pāaka Vidhi. These films aim to highlight the continued relevance of traditional methods in modern beauty formulations.

Sharing his perspective, Rajesh Krishnamurthy said, “The brand has always been rooted in the science of Ayurveda. With this brand, we present Ayurveda in its most authentic and indulgent form — rooted in traditional vidhis and elevated through modern research.”

S Vishnu Vardhan said, “A cornerstone of creating Ayurveda Secrets has been our unwavering commitment to traditional aesthetics, ensuring every design element reflects the depth of our rich heritage. Our philosophy, ‘Forever Beautiful,’ embodies this devotion to timeless traditions while elevating them into a refined, luxurious experience – one that accompanies the consumer gracefully at every step of her journey.”

Elaborating on the science behind the formulations, Dr Chandrika Mahendera explained, “Vidhis can be viewed as a method of formulation that elevate the efficacy of each ingredient. When applied with precision, they significantly enhance ingredient potency, enabling us to create products that deliver truly visible, results.”

The Himalaya Ayurveda Secrets portfolio includes a range of hair and body care products, such as Hair Growth Oil, Repairing Shampoo, Ghee Kesar Body Lotion, and Ghee Lip Butter, designed to deliver holistic and results-driven beauty rituals.
