Mumbai: Warner Music India has entered into a major strategic partnership with Ultra Music, one of India’s most prominent and longstanding music labels, forging an exclusive global distribution agreement that will significantly expand the international reach of Indian music.
As part of the alliance, Warner Music India will take over worldwide distribution of Ultra Music’s extensive catalogue of more than 14,000 tracks, comprising iconic Hindi film soundtracks along with a vast collection of regional, folk, and devotional music. The deal also grants Warner Music exclusive distribution rights for all future Ultra Music releases during the term of the partnership.
The collaboration leverages Warner Music’s expansive global distribution network, enabling Ultra Music’s rich and diverse repertoire to reach wider audiences across digital music platforms worldwide. It also strengthens Warner Music India’s fast-growing catalogue across Bollywood, regional, and independent genres.
