World Pickleball League appoints Komerz India as exclusive sales and sponsorship agency

MUMBAI: The World Pickleball League (WPBL) today announced the appointment of Komerz India, the Indian arm of UK-based Komerz Global, as its exclusive sales and sponsorship agency. The mandate covers central sponsorship inventory, commercial rights and monetisation avenues across WPBL’s flagship properties and community platforms.

AMP Sports & Entertainment, WPBL’s exclusive strategic partner, facilitated the partnership and will work closely with Komerz India to identify and drive high-impact commercial opportunities for the League.

WPBL offers brands a year-round engagement platform. Its ecosystem includes Season Two at Jio World Garden, Mumbai in January 2026, as well as WPBL On Tour, a nationwide grassroots, youth and community program.

Komerz, a global distributor specialising in omni-channel commerce solutions, will lead sales, sponsorship and partnership development for WPBL, supported in strategy and brand alignment by AMP.

The collaboration extends three opportunities for brands. These are flagship visibility and hospitality at the Season 2 event in Mumbai, scalable year-round engagement through WPBL On Tour’s more than 57 events and hyperlocal activations through franchise integrations across city-level tournaments.

This mandate looks to reinforce WPBL’s intent to position pickleball as a mainstream sport and lifestyle choice in India, offering partners direct pathways for storytelling, visibility and long-term association.
