Mumbai: WPP Media has appointed Veena Joji as Chief People Officer, South Asia, further strengthening its leadership team in the region. With over 25 years of experience across Apexon, Epsilon, Thomson Reuters, and IBM, Joji will join WPP Media’s executive committee and play a key role in shaping talent strategies, driving innovation, and nurturing growth across one of the world’s most dynamic media markets.
Previously, Joji served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Apexon, where she led transformative people strategies. Sharing the update on her LinkedIn, she wrote, “Stepping into this role at WPP Media South Asia is both exciting and humbling. Based in Mumbai, Joji brings with her extensive global experience. At IBM Global Process Services, she worked as a consultant, providing value-based consulting to business leaders and management teams. She played a pivotal role in translating business requirements into learning and development strategies and collaborated with global teams on transformation initiatives and budget designs.
Her leadership extended across India, China, the Philippines, Latin America, Europe, and MEA, where she managed people strategies impacting more than 30,000 employees.
