New Delhi: In a landmark move aimed at redefining the future of sports-integrated living in India, Yugen Infra, a prominent real estate developer, has unveiled two pioneering projects at its flagship township, Yugen Golf City, strategically located near Goa’s MOPA International Airport.
The high-profile launch event, held on August 6th at The Lalit, New Delhi, marked the announcement of legendary cricketer and India’s 2011 World Cup-winning coach Gary Kirsten as the brand ambassador and strategic partner for Yugen Infra’s latest offering — a cutting-edge Cricket Villa Project. Kirsten will also advise on a dual-path residential school, alongside Russel Symcox of GK Investments, both contributing in a strategic advisory capacity.
The Cricket-Front Villas, co-developed with Gary Kirsten, will consist of 30 exclusive homes, seamlessly blending luxury living with India’s passion for cricket.
“Partnering with Gary Kirsten is more than a business move; it’s a celebration of India’s cricketing soul. These villas symbolise a dream, where the spirit of the game lives in every breath and breeze,” commented Sheeshram Yadav, Managing Director of Yugen Infra. “At Yugen Infra, we don’t just build homes; we build experiences and legacies. With Cricket Front Villas, we are transforming a nation’s passion into an everyday lifestyle for our residents.”
The event also saw the unveiling of True North International School — a first-of-its-kind residential institution in Asia that will combine elite sports mentorship with academic excellence. Developed in partnership with the True North Group, the school will span 10 acres of lush greenery, offering students a dual-track education across academics and sports such as chess and cricket.
“Education is the foundation of any progressive society,” explained Sheeshram Yadav, Managing Director of Yugen Infra. “With True North International School, we are preparing students, not just for careers but for life, equipping them with the discipline of an athlete and the curiosity of a scholar.”
Speaking on the collaboration, Gary Kirsten shared his excitement, “We are inspired by strong leadership that prioritises quality education and high-performance sport, which is why we’re partnering on this incredible development. This is a really impactful collaboration. We’re excited to be a part of something that’s set to have such a positive impact.”
A special fireside chat kicked off a compelling discussion around “building tomorrow’s champions” — both in sport and education. The conversation featured Gary Kirsten, Aakash Chaudhry (Founder and MD, Sparkl Edventure), and prominent educationists.
Esteemed attendees at the event included Prof. Harish Chaudhry from IIT Delhi’s Department of Management Studies, Russel Symcox, key strategic partner to Yugen Infra and True North, as well as senior leaders from DPS Society, GD Goenka, Heritage Group of Schools, global sports mentors, and leading investors.
