Mumbai: 9X Jalwa, India’s forever hits music channel will celebrate the birth anniversary of RD Burman on 27th June with special programming titled ‘Full RD’. The whole day on 9X Jalwa, will be dedicated to Pancham Da and his music that changed Bollywood!
Full RD will showcase the journey of this music legend and his iconic collaborations with other music geniuses such as Asaha Bhosle, Lata Mangeshkar, Kishore Kumar, Gulzar and many more. Below mentioned are the special programming /music blocks curated by 9X Jalwa for RD Burman fans across India.
Speaking on this initiative Imtiaz Baghdadi, 9X Jalwa Programming Head said “We are pleased to celebrate the most important music milestone of Bollywood – RD Burman. We have always celebrated artists and music legends with dedicated programming blocks and capturing their musical journeys however for the first time 9X Jalwa air over 12 hours of music dedicated to Pancham Da. His music is the foundation on which the current Bollywood music is based. Pancham Da has always been an inspiration for all the music composers.”
9X Jalwa will air special vignettes by popular singers like Kumar Sanu and Abhijeet paying tribute to their favourite music legend. The creative team at 9X Jalwa has also created super cool info graphics which will be aired all through the day.
