New Delhi: News18 India’s popular TV entertainment show ‘Bhabhi Tera Devar Deewana’ is all geared up to celebrate the spirit of Ganesh Utsav. Starting 25th August, the channel’s team will welcome Lord Ganesha as ‘News18 India Ka Raja’ and will visit the sets of 12 top TV serials during the 10 day long festivity.
This year ‘News18 India Ka Raja’ will be welcomed by the contestants of popular dance reality show Dance Plus – Ayush and Mukesh. Riddhima Tiwari & Param Singh of the serial – Ghulam, Vivian Dsena & Rubina Dilaik of Shakti, Rashmi Desai & Jasmine Bhasin of Dil Se Dil Tak, Sangeeta Chauhan & Ankita Sharma of Swabhiman are amongst other famous TV stars who have requested ‘News18 India Ka Raja’ to visit their sets for them seek his blessings. The idol will also be taken to the sets of other popular TV serials for the cast and the unit to perform aarti.
Commenting on News18 India’s initiative, actor Rubina Dilaik said, “It is a unique privilege for all the actors and technicians on the sets to worship bappa together at our work location. Actor Vivian Dsena said, “It is because of Bappa’s blessing that our show is performing well and gaining good ratings.”
Ever since its inception, ‘News18 India ka Raja’ has been immensely popular amongst actors and viewers alike. Through this segment, the viewers get a chance to see their favourite actors celebrating the festival just like them. Last year, renowned celebrities like Shubhangi Atre, Shivangi Joshi, Mohsin Khan and Paras Arora celebrated the festival with ‘News18 India Ka Raja’.
