Chennai: Zee Tamil has announced the exclusive telecast of the audio launch of much-awaited film, 2.0 starring Superstar Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson, directed by S. Shankar and music direction by AR Rahman. This star-studded event will be telecast on 19th November 2017 starting 4:00 PM on Zee Tamil.
Hosted by Bollywood Director Karan Johar, Telugu actor Rana Daggubati and Tamil Nadu’s favorite radio jockey, RJ Balaji, the audio launch of 2.0 will be attended by the who’s who of the Indian movie fraternity including Dhanush, Aishwarya Rajinikanth, Soundarya Rajinikanth, Vijay Yesudas, P. Vasu and Vijay Prakash.
The highlight of the evening will be a scintillating performance by Amy Jackson who will mesmerize audiences with her unique charm, followed by a dance performance by Bollywood Star -Akshay Kumar who will leave the audience speechless with his fiery moves. The event will also witness a performance by music legend AR Rahman, followed by a tribute celebrating his successful partnership with director Shankar creating blockbuster movies like Enthiran, Sivaji – The Boss, Jeans, The Gentleman, etc. Further, during the launch, Superstar Rajinikanth will be presented with a dedicated special performance that will display his magnanimity and simplicity as an actor that has made him an integral part of the lives of Tamil viewers around the world.The launch event also showcased some stunning musical performances by Sid Sriram, Blaaze, Arjun Chandy and Shashaa Tirupati.
The stage for the audio launch will be set at Dubai’s Burj Park which sits beside the world-famous Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world as it is lit up with projections of the characters portrayed by the film’s protagonist Rajinikanth, and antagonist Akshay Kumar. The magnificent high-tech imagery, in keeping with the film’s sci-fi genre promises to create an unparalleled aura keeping viewers glued to their television screens.
