The world’s largest marathon and one of the most prestigious Marathons in the United States , the TCS New York City Marathon, 2018 will be broadcast live on DSPORT for viewers in India on 4th November, 2018 at 7:40 PM.
The 2018 edition of the much awaited marathon will kick start under different categories namely the Professional wheelchair division, Achilles Hand cycle Category, Foot Locker Five-Borough Challenge, Professional Women and Men division. The 26.2 miles marathon covering five boroughs will provide a platform to locals to run alongside champions in long distance races. The 2018 TCS New York City Marathon will offer a total guaranteed prize purse of $825,000 with potential time bonuses.
Since the inaugural ‘NYC Marathon’ in 1970 the contest has become very popular amongst running enthusiast as well as participants alike. The NYC marathon has increased from a mere 55 finishers in the inaugural edition to more than 50,000 finishers in 2017 edition showing the exponential growth in the sport.
