Chennai: Novex Communication, a music copyright company has secured a Court order demanding authorities to file an FIR against “Master” movie producer Xavier Britto for Copyright infringement.
Novex Communication has filed complaint against Xavier Britto for Infringing the rights in the event of MASTER film audio launch event that held on 15th March 2020.
According to Novex, many songs were played in the cultural event without acquiring any copyrights from its client Think Music. Subsequently, the complaint was launched before the IPR Enforcement Cell and a court order was secured against XP Film Creators owned by Xavier Britto.
Chief metropolitan magistrate Kothandaraman ordered IPR Enforcement SP to file a F.I.R against Movie producer Xavier Britto.
Master Movie is scheduled for release on 13th January 2020.
