Chennai: Divo, one of India’s leading and well-established digital media and music company based out of South India won 9 awards at the recently held Blacksheep Digital Awards 2021.
Along with winning the Elevators of Digital, Divo and its content partners bagged 8 other awards in multiple categories like Best Cine Portal for Galatta.com, Best Actor Male (Jury) Social Media – Arun Kumar, Channel of the Year for Sothanaigal, Best Director – Rajeshwar for Nakkalites, Favourite Actor Male – Sriram for Mic set, Favourite Vlogger Food – Irfansview, Star Infotainer – Rangaraj Pandey and Favourite Actor Female (Jury) Social Media – Sivaranjani.
The awards were won by 2 of Divo’s Online Video verticals, the News Department and the Creators Department.
Speaking about the win, Vishnu Ramaswamy, Director at Divo, who also attended the event, said, “This is a huge win for us, and I am thankful to our entire team who could make this happen. Blacksheep Digital Awards is an annual awards ceremony for the people of YouTube and is only presented in Tamil. The award was introduced in 2021 on the Black Sheep YouTube Channel. This year many celebrities including Kamal Hassan, Siva Karthikeyan, Madhavan, and many more Youtubers and comedians became a part of this ceremony. The ceremony happened at Sai Ram Engineering College, Chennai. It was held on 28th February 2021.
